Sensorless rotor position estimation of PMSM for low and high rotor speed

In this paper, a sensorless permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drive was presented based on calculating the back EMF using reference stator voltages, which are output of d-axis current controller, includes information about rotor position. Sensorless control estimates position necessary for vector without sensor or encoder. This can provide effects such as increased system reliability and cost volume reduction. The EMFs calculated in new coordinate estimated speed to minimize estimation error. may fail track real extremely low since error be amplified from controller voltage, cause instability problems tracking controller. So, compensator has been added detector overcome disadvantage. order verify validity proposed technique, an experiment performed PMSM, results showed fast-dynamic response, ripples motor’s currents, good performance power references.
